Gotta Love HCG...

Howdy there, Kooky K here.

I had planned on updating my blog daily but as you can see that hasn't happened. Well, now is as good a time as any I suppose.

Here goes, I am on VLCD 27 I am down 19 pounds (yay) and will be doing my weekly measurements tomorrow.

Here is a look of the past few days:

Day 22- 166 down .7
Day 23- 165.3 down .7
Day 24- 164.6 down .7
Day 25- 165 UP .4
Day 26- 164.1 down .9
Day 27- 163.4 down .7

I am just one pound away from my first major goal of losing 20lbs. I am sooo excited I could shout. I am 3.5lbs from the 50's and the last time I was there was 2008 when I went on the Master Cleanser starvation diet for a while and then piggy backed with Medifast (it works but is gross). So I am VERY excited to get there.

My jeans, the only ones I was able to wear at my larger 182.4lb size are very loose on me now. I have gotten into the pair just down from those but... when I was in the smaller ones (same size but a slim/snug/stretchy fit from Gap) I tried to keep wearing them when I ballooned up to the high 70's and you guessed it... I busted the zipper- oh the shame. So I am back in those 12's comfortably and looking good- however the zipper is not fixed and I am thinking its not worth fixing cause I won't be in them for long ;-)

I am pretty sure that when I started this HCG journey I was in at least a size 14. I REFUSED to buy anything larger than a 12 because that was just saying to myself that it is okay to keep getting larger- AND ITS NOT!

I am a dental hygienist and wear mostly scrubs all week and its easy to gain weight in those- however, a few months ago I had to trade in my mediums for large and it broke my heart. Well I am happy to announce that those larges ar just about falling off me. They are very baggy and look too big. Thank heavens.

They say that you drop a clothing size for every 10lbs but I am thinking for me it is more like 15-20. I don't really care what the size actually is as long as I look good. I have to admit though that back in the late 90's when I got down to a size 4 and then went shopping and tried on a pair of calvin klein shorts that were a size TWO- I had to buy them just because they fit and they were a size 2. LOL. I crack myself up what a dork. If I make it to a size 6 I will be elated and just over the moon about it but an 8 is fine too.

I just want to look good and feel pretty again- like someone might want to be around me and not run from me LOL.

I was worried that my weight loss would be stalled today becuase I knew I wasn't going to get any sleep last night. I of course planned to go get New Moon from Wally World at midnight. I went to the movies to see Kristen and Dakota in the Runaways at 10pm down the road from Walmart so that I could kill some time and try to stay awake then shoot over and get the movie and go home. I was surprised that I wasn't even the slightest bit tempted to get popcorn or candy for the movie- which for me is a must and they go hand-in-hand. Very cool. I didn't drink enough water yesterday either.

So then I get to Walmart to run in and grab New Moon and HOLY HARRAH the parking lot was packed and people were coming and going it was like the middel of the day during Christmas shopping. Then it hit me... this might have been a bigger deal than I thought it was going to be. Well there was a huge line snaking through the store to get a movie and if you wanted more than your alloted 1 you would have to go get in line again each additional time. I got my first double disc ultimate fan edition with the additional Twilight in Forks DVD. Then I got back in line for my second one for my sister.

I was there for about an hour- it went faster than I thought it would but it was now 1 am. Sleep is important for the releasing of fat and I was nervous that I was ambushing myself. So then I get home and text with my sister for a few minutes and am ready to go to bed but just can't do it.... MUST WATCH TWILIGHT IN FORKS. I couldn't resist the temptation. So needless to say it was after 2am when I went to bed. Then I got up at 7am did my morning ritual and settled in to watch New Moon. But all the worrying was for not because I had a .7 release which is awesome.

My average overall in releasing is .7 per day. The average for females is .5 per day so I am thrilled with that result. I still eat eggs (organic, free range brown) every couple days and extra lean ground turkey and am losing so I'm not worried about that. I am also eating Bison as well as chicken and very lean steak and shrimp as well sometimes.

I will post tomorrow what my measurements are and my losses in inches.

If you are doing this journey as well then I know you are having awesome results too. If you aren't doing it yet or are just curious and reading and thinking about doing it.... DO IT, it really really works.

You gotta love HCG. I know I do.

Back to New Moon- gotta watch the clips of Eclipse.

Take care blogland.

K
Enjoy the ride and see ya on the other side.
